Link Cleanup

Once a backlink analysis has been completed, the next step is cleaning up any spammy, poor-quality links. Typically, if a website has a large number of these bad backlinks, it will receive a warning or manual penalty from Google. Another indication is a significant drop in rankings and web traffic.

After identifying which links could be harmful to the site’s SEO efforts, a disavow document will be filed with Google to ensure they aren’t considered in their ranking algorithm.

Deliverables:

  • Manually review all potentially harmful links
  • Create a disavow file to tell Google which links to ignore
  • Repair algorithm penalties

Note: The cost of link cleanup depends on the number of links that need to be removed. Please contact your account manager for more information and an accurate quote.
