Within the world of website design, there’s one proven-successful way to get more users to complete the actions you would like them to complete: ask them! Call-to-action buttons (or CTAs) are designed to entice users to click them for one reason or another.
A CTA is typically a small-to-medium sized image with very simple text and graphics that tells users to do something specific. For example, websites that want users to schedule a type of booking could display a CTA that reads, “Book Now,” with a link leading to a bookings page. A CTA must always have an appropriate link behind it directing users where they need to go. This is an effective way to drive people to specific web pages.
- Design of 1 image/graphic as a CTA
